A Work which has been turned into a Physical or Electronic object that CGConsumers can use.
The manifestation or expression of a Work in a tangible form suitable for Loan, Free Distribution, Sale or Lease.
A Work becomes a Product when it is published. In the case of a Book, the final Draft of a Work becomes an Edition at the point when it is transformed into a Product. Each variation in the manifestation of a Work involves the creation of a new Product, such as a revised Edition or a Translated Version Of a Work. Each Product may also be rendered in more than one Medium, such as the facsimile reproduction of an Electronic Book as an Printed Book, or of an Article in a Print Periodical as an Electronic Periodical. Each individual instantiation or copy of a Product is called an Item. A Work may be manifest in one or a combination of Product Forms, including, for instance: Book, Short Text, Website, Audio Recording, Video Recording, Image Recording, Map, Multimedia Recording, Software, Dataset or Collection. Each Product can be uniquely identified by a Product Id.
