This paper shows how to approach the didactic skills related with civic values and attitudes in early childhood and in primary school. We analyze the preschool and primary school Romanian Curricula to reveal the most important requirements in the field and complete the first section of the paper with some theory about the concepts of "Integrated Curriculum," "experiential domain" or "curricular area." The activities developed in kindergarten for the experiential domain "Man and Society" and those developed in primary school for the correspondent curricular area are meant to create moral values and civic attitudes. Teachers have to develop specific competencies through Civic Education, History and Geography. These competencies will be analyzed during the second sequence of the paper. The third part of the paper is dedicated to some teachers` opinion about the didactic skills they make use of, in order to determine their pupils to express the moral values they are attached to and to practice the appropriate behaviors. Our research is focused on what and how teachers do when they want to determine their pupils to express moral judgments and to develop the desired civic behaviors.
