Adventures of a Travel Buddy Named Jana
This paper draws together the experiences of early childhood undergraduate students who 'cared for' a travel buddy. Their reflections are presented as a collective narrative.

Lindy Austin is a fulltime early childhood lecturer at the Wide Bay Campus of the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. Lindy has played an active role in education for nearly forty years and has worked in the early childhood, primary, secondary, special education, vocational and tertiary sectors. She has been a teacher, advisor, principal, and manager and has worked extensively in the Asian Pacific Basin. In 1985 Lindy was awarded an ANZAC Fellowship. Presently Lindy is a doctoral student at the Charles Darwin University. Her special intererts are reflective practices, community of learners and transformative learning.
