Dr Matthew Auer

Matthew R. Auer is director of undergraduate programs and professor of public and environmental affairs at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA), Indiana University. Dr. Auer teaches environmental management and policy to both undergraduate and graduate students. He has received eleven teaching awards from SPEA and from Indiana University for excellence in teaching. Dr. Auer is editor-in-chief of the public policy journal, "Policy Sciences" and former section editor of the curriculum and case notes section of the "Journal of Policy Analysis and Management". Dr. Auer has published widely in the area of international environmental policy. His most recent book is the edited volume, "Restoring Cursed Earth: Appraising Environmental Policy Reforms in Eastern Europe and Russia" (Rowman & Littlefield Press, 2004).
