Sally Hansen currently holds the position of Programme Director for secondary teacher education at Massey University. Before entering the tertiary sector, Sally spent considerable time as a secondary school English teacher and as a Head of English working predominantly with Maori boys. It was this experience that motivated her interest in the area of self-efficacy and its importance in the development of teaching and learning for both teachers and learners.
