Dr. Black is a science education professor at the University of Victoria in Victoria, British Columbia where she focuses her research efforts on improving science education for all levels of education. Dr. Black’s current research projects include investigating student understanding of the Nature of Science to increase Scientific Literacy, Curriculum and Instruction in Science, and Reading and Writing in and to learn Science.
