Rosetta has taught at her institution since 1994. She co-ordinates the Communication’s Studies Programme and the Engineering Literacy subject stream in her Department.
She has a Master’s Degree in Education and has completed a research proposal towards a Ph.D study. Her research interests include the development, promotion and use of African languages in Higher education. She is also interested in exploring ways of making Mechanical Engineering more accessible to students.
She has recently completed a RCI South Africa – Netherlands Research Programme on Alternatives in Development.
She serves on the CPUT language policy task team and is also a member of her regional government’s Language Committee.
