Prof. Dr Herlinda-Elena Cancino is a member of the Faculty of Education at San Francisco State University, San Francisco, California, USA. She has post graduate degrees from Harvard University and Stanford University, and has been a researcher and faculty member at both Harvard and Stanford Universities. Her teaching, research, and publications center on equity issues in education, second language acquisition, and on the education of teachers for culturally and linguistically diverse learners.
