Desiree Hamburger is a trained actress and K-12 certified teacher who has taught acting, playwriting and design. She was awarded her BFA in Theatre, her M.A. in Elementary Education, her Ed.M. in Arts in Education from Harvard, and is now pursuing her PhD at New York University. Her main research interests lie in infusing theatre arts into teacher education programs, motivating teachers of all subject areas to use theatre structures in order to create an exciting and engaging classroom community of learners.
