This study aimed at determining the efficacy of Teaching With Analogy (TWA) model in fostering students understanding and achievement in science. Eighty Senior Secondary One (SS 1) students were selected by stratified sampling technique and divided into two groups using simple random sampling technique. Students’ Achievement Test (SAT) was developed to gather data, which was analysed using t-test statistics. Findings revealed that experimental group performed better than the control group. No gender difference in performance was noticed.
