The existence of math anxiety among my students was very apparent to me from the very early days when I began to teach math. Test anxiety is another expression I have heard from my students. As a research oriented person, I am always curious in finding the reasons why people react in a particular way in the learning process? What causes anxiety and what are its effects? How can we devise teaching methodology that addresses this issue and how can we help alleviate it? My experience and knowledge in teaching and tutoring to divers population on secondary, undergraduate, and graduate levels has lead me to devise strategies to address math anxiety.
