We analyze the relevancy of the personal vivid experiences, full of emotions, narrowly related to the formation of the competence for the personal autonomy, across the recollections and autobiographical reasonings put of relief for students of Secondary Education, selected of a sample of the province of Seville. With this aim, we conceptualize the autobiographical memory and describe his functions. Secondly, we penetrate into the formation of the competence for the personal autonomy. Thirdly, we explain the methodological process and the analysis of the results. Finally, like conclusion and from the biographical stories you realize for the polled student body, we describe the importance of the personal experiences for the construction of the personal autonomy.
