The paper attempts to highlight a conceptual model of multimedia courseware on Malaysian folktales, which is based on sound pedagogical approaches and learning theories deem suitable for children in motivating them to read and to write. The well-designed courseware makes the teaching and learning processes more effective, meaningful and fun.
