Currently, education is an activity area to which all the countries give priority and equate with their futures. People feel the necessity of information more than before and information and scientific thought is getting more important. Education processes that take place throughout life and present ways to reach information play a fundamental role in building personality, revealing creativity, productivity and the abilities of a person and direct societies to have a modern future.
Also the level of education of women directly effects the wealth and future of the societies. Educated women may actively participate the society as a labor so that they can respond the needs of the economy. Social and economical conditions, culture, norms, development of pedagogy and human rights in the country are components that define the context and method of education. For countries that aim to modernity it is crucial to work out the education parallel to the universal norms of modern life. The level of education for women increases the wealth and brightens the future of communities and the quality of the generations they bring up. The level of education for women also responds to the necessities of the age and the economy, affecting national production as women actively join the labor force. This study investigates improvements in female education in Turkey, in the context of lifelong education, the general outlook of mass professional education activities which are carried out by the institutions bound to Ministry of National Education and the opinions and the feelings of female citizens. Within this context a semi-structured interview has been carried out with 25 female citizens who participated in adult education activities. In the analysis of data two experts and researchers fill in the interview coding key separately. In accordance with the experts and researches’ decisions the coding key is fully formed. In accordance with the findings a conclusion is drawn and some suggestions are made.
