This study proposed an extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in the context of e-learning service. The aim of this study was to identify the factors that encourage students to use digital libraries system. The research constructs were developed based on the technology acceptance model (TAM) and incorporated some extra important control variables. The model was empirically verified to examine the factors influencing the digital libraries system use of 400 students. The findings of the study suggests that the awareness of digital libraries system and its benefits, the social influence, computer self-efficacy and the internet self-efficacy have significant effects on the perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEOU) of digital libraries system. Also the effect of perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEOU) on attitude toward use are significant effects. The implications of the findings are discussed and suggestions for future research are presented.
