The lesson study approach has been used by teachers and lecturers as a form of professional development to collaboratively plan their lessons and observe as they unfold in actual classrooms. This paper describes the development of the Lesson Study Based Team Assignment model for university accounting and business students and the examination of the model in three different areas at different institutions.
