We hear people refer to a ‘new world order’ and time for change at work. I propose to share my experiences in higher education on the basis of what I have been observing and listening to in the coaching and business management and leadership arenas. As change is likely to come through education, I take this opportunity to invite you into my world of teaching and to explore the role that effective coaching can play in an adult learning environment. As someone with a portfolio career as a practicing coach and an education professional I aim to bring to it an “eclectic blend” of who I am and what I have come to know.
