Dr Consolacion Fajardo holds a Doctor of Public Administration degree from the University of Southern California, U.S.A. She has a CPA certificate from the Philippines. Her teaching experience in higher education (specifically accounting) spans 37 years: 17 years as a Professor of Accounting at the University of the East, Philippines and the remaining years as accounting faculty at various universities in Sacramento California, U.S.A. (National University, California State University, Golden Gate University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and Sacramento City College. She has been teaching full-time at National University since 1992 where she currently is an Associate Professor. Many honors, several of them international (e.g. World Who's Who of Women 1993, Most Admired Men and Women of the Year 1995) have come her way. The crowning glory of her career was her induction to the international Educators' Hall of Fame in 1999. She was recently nominated and selected to be included in the Who's Who of America's Teachers, 2004 Edition. She has co-authored books and manuals in accounting and has also published in professional journals and made presentations in national (U.S.A.) and international conferences.
