Kelly has worked for a number of years in accounting practices, and later went on to get her teaching certificate. After teaching adults for 10 years in public, adult upgrading, and business education, she pursued an advanced degree to better understand how to integrate technology into learning. Her interests are online learning, online design, technological advances, adult learners, literacy, and struggling students. Currently in a doctoral program at the University of Calgary, Faculty of Education, Kelly plans to study higher education frameworks with a focus on developing a model for online programs.
