Integrating Semantics into a Web-Based Lexical Project: “ADELEX” – Evaluating and Developing Lexis through the Internet
This paper argues for the integration of semantics, in particular, semantic fields into ELT scenario through a corpus approach and web-based activities.

Beatriz Cortina-Pérez is a PhD student in the Department of English Philology (University of Granada). She is a member of an online lexical project entitled “Aplicación de los recursos educativos de la plataforma de teleformación WEBCT a las asignaturas virtuales: la creación de un manual interactivo” financed by the University of Granada. She is mainly working on lexis, in particular, the areas of semantics, corpus linguistics and CALL.
